Tucson La Encantada Enchanted Snowfall

Last year I wrote about 15 Minutes of Magic at La Encantada. That was my title. It turned out to be a very popular event or series of events actually. It is starting tonight again for this year. Its not really snow but it sure looks like it. The atmosphere is right out of main street in the Enchanted Kingdom at Disney World. Although smaller and shorter, but hey Tucson is a long way from Orlando.
El Dorado Condos – Tucson

Tucson El Dorado Condominiums
They are actually being called condominium homes. I’ve never heard that phrase used before, maybe they have coined a new term. The El Dorado Condominium Homes start from $149,990 up to $189,990. I was impressed with the design and marketing of these condo homes. Typically there is a standard plan, then upgrade options in a variety of metal names like Silver, Gold, Platinum, etc. Here they are all the same, top of the line with slab-granite throughout.
Tucson Real Estate Marketing Photos Make the Difference

The Marketing of Tucson AZ Real Estate has moved beyond the sign in the yard, the flyer on the sign, or the control of the MLS Listing Book. This book which used to be filled with pages of black and white shots of the front of houses. Today it is about the WEB! Getting those photos on the web is probably the most important part of marketing any home in Tucson, or any other place in the country.

Tucson Thanksgiving 2007 Is that Snow?

Today was the day when we all got up early, this year very early, there was a freak thunderstorm last night and it sounded like someone was demolishing homes on the next block in the middle of the night. Thunder Lightening Rain and Hale were the four friends that greeted us early this Thanksgiving morning.
Tucson Winter 2007

It isn’t officially winter in the United States until the first day of winter December 21st, I believe unless they have moved it recently due to global warming. Today’s high was predicted to be 80. It is currently 85. The sun will be going down in about 45 minutes. I say all of this because some people thinking about retiring or spending the winter in Tucson have been asking what is the winter supposed to be like this year.
Tucson Real Estate Absorption Rates October 2007

You were expecting a Duck?
I know you were expecting to find a picture of a rubber duck with a raincoat, umbrella and boots. But, it turns out the absorption rate overall dropped for the month of October. There were a few areas that saw a decrease in absorption but most areas saw a [...]

This is one of the “incredible” times of the year to live in Tucson. Tucson AZ Real Estate at night can be even more breathtaking than during the day.
Tucson MLS Statistics for October 2007
The Tucson MLS Statistics report was released yesterday November 13, 2007. The data was actually gathered on November 5th.
One of the annoying things I’ve been tracking over the past year is the continuing discrepancies of the data in the report. This is NOT Due to the Tucson MLS. It is due to [...]
Tucson Mesquite Milling and Mesquite Pancake Chow Down

Tucson Mesquite Milling and Harvesting is really something interesting to see and experience. I say experience because mesquite flour pancakes and cookies have a unique and wonderful flavor. You can taste these wonderful pancakes at two more events this fall.
Tucson Homes The View
I’ve been meaning to write a post on how important it is to consider the views outside the home when making your decision on which home to purchase. In many parts of the country views are not a consideration. Here they are HUGE! I’ve decided to let you see for yourself.
Tucson Home Buyers Don’t Give Away Your Right To Representation

We hear the same story many times from buyers coming in to Tucson to look at buying a new home. “We didn’t want to bother anyone or take up their time so we went looking ourselves.”
