If You Build it They will Come

Of course new housing starts are down. It appears they will be that way for some time to come. Just because the “Arizona Daily Star” reports there are 2 bright spots soften otherwise grim economic picture doesn’t mean it is all over and construction is going back to what it was in the past few years. Far from it, it looks like we could never see it again like it was and that is a very good thing.

Anyone working with statistics knows it only takes a single small change to make a LARGE change in the stats.For example: Enter 1 mobile home transaction with the square footage reported as 1 sq. ft. and it will take you from $81 a sq. ft. to $6,728 sq. ft. very quickly. This is for the overall average for all mobile homes sold in April 2008.
