Credit Has Been Discredited
Credit is not a basic right of life. Credit used to be something hard earned. It has been disparaged and soiled and let’s face it made cheap to get and of little value.

What we need and what we want are different, but you often can’t tell that from today’s society. Have you heard the saying “The more you have the more you want.”? It is true. I hear and read about the credit crunch, the housing crunch, and the lack of affordable housing.

Sounds like a lot of If’s and abouts to me. All that said it is possible and it seems this investor is making money, getting some homes off the market and out of the foreclosure lists. It also seems like Blackrock Inc. is working on doing this on a much larger scale according to the article.

This is our market. It is what it is given all that has and is occuring in our country economically. New Home Construction is tied to Mortgage even more than it is tied to new construction. If buyers can’t get financing to buy a house then builders can’t sell them.
If You Build it They will Come
Of course new housing starts are down. It appears they will be that way for some time to come. Just because the “Arizona Daily Star” reports there are 2 bright spots soften otherwise grim economic picture doesn’t mean it is all over and construction is going back to what it was in the past few years. Far from it, it looks like we could never see it again like it was and that is a very good thing.

Oleanders are a popular choice for landscaping in Tucson. It can be a bush, a hedge even a tree of sorts. It blooms long through the summer and is hearty against the heat. It tends to be a bit dirty and trashy but even the leaves it drops with flower petals have a beauty of their own.
