Tucson Night Blooming Cereus

One night this past week I had the opportunity to photograph a Night Blooming Cereus cactus. Each bud only blooms for one night. They start to open just before sunset. The cactus I was photographing had 3 opening the same night and a single bloom the following night. It is only the third or forth time this cactus has bloomed in 17 years.

Just a quick update on how the Tucson Real Estate Market faired for May 2008. It looks like Average and Median Sale Prices are going to be reported lower than April. Pending contracts appear to be up, New listings down slightly and Active listings under 9000 for the month.

I use the Firefox Browser for almost everything, except when I need to access the Tucson MLS system. It won’t really work with Firefox. Sometimes it will come up, but for the most part it isn’t functional.
Tucson MLS Statistics for April 2008
April was a good month for real estate in Tucson so far we have 1008 Residentail sales recorded for the month. Looks like this will be the final number as well.
Skype for the budget minded and hearing impaired

Last week I was part of a conference call. Many of you probably don’t know this but I’m hearing impaired. I got a bad cold when I was 27 and the virus destroyed some of the nerve endings in my left ear which left me with a major hearing loss and a very loud ringing sound that never goes away.
