Extreme Makeover Tucson Continued on Saturday
Here is a short clip of the progress on the house on Saturday and Saturday evening. There is a continued need for volunteers Framers, Drywallers, Electricians, Plumbers, and late on Sunday Plaster workers.

Lizzie’s Loot – UMC has roughly 100 children visit its pediatric hematology/oncology center per week.
Children receive transfusions, chemotherapy, radiation, and other treatment for blood and cancer diseases
Extreme Home Makeover Tucson – Framing

Last night the concrete was poured and today the framing is going up. The framing for this project as you can see is metal. A lot of this was able to be pre assembled off site and as of late this evening the project was slightly ahead of schedule will a lot of work yet to be done.

Today the debris from last nights demolition was removed from the site and the all important foundation prep work took place. This is a time consuming process but oh so important. No one wants to have a toilet drain coming up in the middle of a hallway.

Extreme Home Makeover Tucson Demolition Night It wasn’t freezing last night but it was cold. The warm hearts of many volunteers kept the atmosphere one of revelry as the Demolition step of the project got under way.
Extreme Makeover Tucson – Blood Drive

Two blood drives are being held in honor of Lizzie Bell and the John P. Bell Foundation: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday at Pima Community College East Campus, 8181 E. Irvington Road.
Tucson Extreme Makeover – Move Out

The Lizzy Bell Family have left for their vacation in New York City. They will be there for this week while a lot of volunteers and workers tear down and build them a new home. A home which will provide a healthier and safer enviornment for Lizzy’s condition.
