Early Sunday Morning in Tucson (Fat Paper Day)
This is our favorite time of year in Tucson. If you want to see amazing sunrise and sunsets. If being warm and only seeing snow on the mountains and not in your driveway sounds appealing, come on down. There’s plenty of sunshine and warmth to go around, here in Tucson.
Tucson has some stunning sunsets
Tucson is located in the desert Southwest where the air is crisp and clean most of the year. When fall arrives the humidity from Monsoon Season drops and the heat cools to a moderate temperature.
Day Trips to Beat the HEAT!
One of the things we have been trying to do this year is take more day trips out of Tucson to find other interesting places in Arizona.
Mt Lemmon Oktoberfest 2009
When it is 106 outside I don’t even think about Oktoberfest. But on Mt. Lemmon, they can’t wait each year for October to get here so they start Oktoberfest in the middle of September.

Tucson Firefighters Chili Cook-off 2009 Nov. 6
Once again this year the Tucson Firefighters will be sponsoring their Chili Cook-off at El Presidio Park. The date is Nov. 6, 2009. Tickets are still $1.00.
Tucson Lighthouse Tour Canceled
There won’t be a Tucson Lighthouse Tour this fall. I’m sorry it was canceled. California still hasn’t slipped into the ocean.
