When it comes to search engines and searches the saying goes, “More is Less”. The more specific the search the fewer the results. The more criteria you enter the narrower the search but you might miss out on a great property by refining your search too much.

Then there are those searches where what you are entering isn’t what you entered because you didn’t know how what you entered was defined. CONFUSED?

Tucson Home 3 Bedrooms 2 Baths

I want to search for a home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. I enter that in my search criteria for the Tucson MLS Search. In the search options you can enter numbers for:

• full baths
• three quarter
• half baths
• quarter baths
• total baths

Did you know in the Tucson MLS a bathroom has to have a tub to be a full bath?

We have a great home listed right now, It has two master suites and a junior suite. All have their own bathroom and there is a quarter bath in the hall by the kitchen. Four total baths, but only 1 full bath. The other two have walk-in showers.

Anyone searching for 4 bedrooms 2 baths will not return this home unless they entered total baths instead of full baths.

Hopefully this will help you find the Tucson Home you are looking for as your next home. Personally, I would much rather have a walk-in shower than a bath tub.

There are some great homes on the Tucson AZ Real Estate market. When searching select total bath instead of full baths. It is easy to weed out the ones you don’t want. This is better than missing the perfect home.

This is search page is organized just like the condo search page same option check box format.

Tucson Home Search by Area

There are 13 areas in the Tucson MLS system. Select the area of Tucson and the Quick search page for that area will appear. Select the price range in which you are looking.

The Tucson MLS will only allow a search to return 400 results in a single search. This is why the searches are broken down by these price ranges.

Tucson MLS Search

This link is a direct link to the Tucson MLS Public search page. Here you select the type of property you are looking for Ex. Residential, which opens up more sub-selections. This is the most powerful search where you can enter specific schools and many other criteria to narrow your search. However, refining your search too much might just take a property you are looking for out of the search results.

Tucson Search Option Total Baths vr Full Baths

An Example of what I’m talking about. In the Tucson MLS system a bathroom must have a tub to be considered a “Full Bath” if you select 2 or 3 full baths you could miss some great homes that don’t have tubs, but do have full walk-in showers. You should select “Total Baths” 2 or 3 instead of “Full Baths” for your bathroom options in your search.

Tucson Dream Home Finder

The Tucson Dream Home Finder is the quick and easy way to have saved searches delivered right to your own email address. Fill out the Dream Home Finder form and submit it. We enter the information in a saved search criteria. Whenever a Tucson Home is entered into the Tucson MLS System you will get an email with a link to the listing in the Tucson MLS. You will often have information on new listings before Tucson Real Estate Agents even know they are on the market.

Many of our Dream Home Finder Clients are from out of State or even out of the country. We often preview these homes, take additional photos becoming the eyes and ears for those who aren’t currently in Tucson. Of course for those in town we are a phone call or email away. Tucson Homes by Subdivision

There are 1391 subdivision in Tucson including 3 in Pinal county.  I am currently working on a way to make it possible to search these communities live from the Public MLS data.

The Tucson MLS makes them available in such a way that computers often lock up while loading the list of subdivisions.  I’ll have them broken out in groups so they are quick to pull up and search.
