I opened the “Arizona Daily Star” yesterday and I couldn’t believe what I was reading. A third of Tucson homes sold last year went for losses as foreclosures continued to drive down values in Southern Arizona, Seattle-based Zillow.com reported Tuesday Zillow being used as an authoritative data source is like using a quija board to predict the future.

There was a significant drop in the overall absorption rate for Tucson from November at 12.59 to December 9.84 Some of the areas of town showed marked improvement.

We have put 2008 behind us and many bid it a fond goodbye much the same as they did 2007 with the hope the new year will be a better year. We shall see. We are 3 days away from the new administration being sworn in and I know there have been a lot comparisons to another administration a while back and the first 100 days.
