Extreme Home Makeover Tucson
It is Monday evening here in Tucson and excitement is building around town as many volunteers are getting ready for an amazing week.
There are still a lot of people unaware of what is about to happen. I’ve run into two people today that didn’t even know Extreme Makeover was in town this week.
Consider all the families that apply every year for the opportunity to receive a new home. There are so few that make it through the process and end up chosen to have a new custom home built for them. The home is tailored to the specific needs of the family. No two build projects are alike. If you follow this show at all you soon realize each build is quite unique.
Some who have worked so very hard to make all this happen are already tired. Their work load has increased exponentially in the past few days. I think you could describe it as Almost under control CHAOS.
If you haven’t signed up to take a volunteer slot yet. Head over to the Extreme Makeover Tucson Volunteer page and sign up for a time slot. However, before you sign-up it is requested your read the Volunteer Information and Requirements page.
Once you sign up KEEP CHECKING YOUR EMAIL. When you receive a confirmation email; Please, Please answer any question in that email promptly and send it back. A lot of planning is going on and the sooner the planners know you will be there the easier it will make their task of coordinating all the volunteers.
Not Interested in The SuperBowl – Volunteer
There is a need for special volunteer for Sunday. Anyone that isn’t interested in Football (specifically the SuperBowl) or anyone who thinks an Arizona Cardinal is a just a red bird, please sign up to take volunteer shifts for Sunday.
