UPDATE: 2010 Arizona Home Show Information
The Arizona State Home show is this weekend. It starts tomorrow Jan. 9 from 12 – 7 pm. Sat. 10 – 7 pm. and Sun 10 – 5 pm.
Attendance is $8 for adults but you can get a $2 discount coupon from the home show website.
I’ve never attended a home show. I don’t usually even mention these types of events here. So I’ll keep this brief. You can find all the information you want about this weekend event at the Tucson Convention Center from their own website.
You might pick up some ideas for your home and you might win one of the door prizes.
Heck, you might even have fun.
Life Observation and Question
If you buy two $2 lottery tickets and you “win” $4. Did you really “win” anything or is the perception of “winning”?

Hi. I’m really interested to attend to the Arizona Home Show because I’ve never been to home shows yet. However, I will be out of the country on January 9-15. My friend will going to attend the home show. Well, I hope you guys have fun and I hope you can get some ideas for your homes, too.

Gary,
I don’t have any idea, you might try SAHBA. They will probably be at most of the Arizona Home show events. Southern Arizona Home Builders Association.

Interested in the Show. Will it start Friday Jan 9, 2010 ? What time will the gate open? Is arrival during first hours of opening free?

Rita,
The information is a little sketchy for this year. But it will open on Friday at Noon. I’ll have more information on the event later today in a post about this years event.

Just an FYI: I couldn’t find a single mention of this show at the TCC website. NOT ONE. It was not on their event calendar even. And the Arizona State Home Show website? More useless than the TCC Website. A little blurb about the show, not one single snippet about vendors, show times, nothing. Will be interesting to see if there is any inkling of a turnout with the lack of publicity/information.

Colleen,
You are absolutely right, there is very little information available for this show on any of the “official” websites.
