40th Anniversary of the 4th Ave. Street Fair

This is the second day of the 40th anniversary 4th ave. spring street fair.

I had every intention of making it there yesterday.   But life croweded in as often happens.

The Hours:

10 am. to Dusk   Friday – Sunday.

There is no change to attend.

There are more than 350,000 people expected to attend the street fair.   Some familiar faces are back and there are some new ones as well.

This event held twice a years is quite the sampling of this Tucson Micro culture that exist on 4th Ave.

Plan on walking and do your best to find parking.   Make sure you don’t park in an of   the U of   A restricted areas unless you don’t mind paying the fine.

However, I did see this from the Arizona Daily Star on some tickets being converted to warnings.

“The city will not fine people who parked in residential permit areas Friday during the Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair, authorities said.”

Maybe you will even need your sun screen today.   And be sure to take your camera.   The street fair always provides lots of color and entertainment.
