I know some have noticed a lack of posting the past couple of weeks, at least I hope some have noticed. I’ve been on a two week Life Journey. It isn’t a vacation though some have used that word. This is different, it might look like a vacation from the outside, but it isn’t one from the inside.
If I were to go on vacation it would be to an island, with blue water, and palm trees, with Great food, music, dancing, and long walks on a beach. Sleeping at night where I could hear the surf pounding on the shore. That would be a vacation!
I left on August 1st to drive to my 40th High School Reunion in Ontario, Ohio. This journey home and back again has been something planned for months. When asked why I wanted to go, I couldn’t say that I did. It has been some kind of compelling inner pull to go back to where I was born. And take time to experience life along the way. To think about my 58 years of walking the earth and the many life experiences during that time.
I have visited friends and family along the way too and now back again to Tucson. I’ve seen some interesting things and with camera in hand I’ve documented much of the journey. I’ll share some of what I’ve seen as I crossed half the country and back. It is interesting to look at other parts of this land of ours with the eye of a photographer and the eye of one who works in real estate at the same time.
