Yes it is now officially, unofficially and any other way you want to put it Summer in Arizona. Yes, it is a dry heat, Your Point?
We have had more than a month of triple digit temps. Even with the recent respite of the Monsoon Season it is still HOT!
- You know it is summer when you burn your butt just getting in the car
- You know it is summer when oven mitts are considered driving gloves
- You know it is summer when people fight over the parking spot with a leaf of shade even if it is 100 yards from the store
- You know it is summer when the horses line up the shade of a telephone pole down the middle of their backs
- You know it is summer when people try and borrow a can of shade with the promise to give it back in the fall
As Scott Kelby would say “Yeah Baby, it is Hot”
