There are some obvious ways of knowing you are experiencing Christmas in Tucson.  Here are some of them.

  • All Walls Stucco
  • Tile Roofs
  • Decomposed Granite Lawns
  • Green trees and bushes
  • Sunshine and lack of snow
  • Saguaro Cactus (many with Santa Hats)
  • Christmas Lights (not as obvious since those are found here all year round)
  • People without jackets
  • Christmas dinner is ham or turkey tacos

I’m sure there are Tucsonans that can add to this list of ways you know it is Christmas in Tucson

Merry Christmas everyone, from not so sunny Tucson (at least today it isn’t sunny).
