The Band Love She Wrote

The Band Love She Wrote

Tucson Serendipity  Love, She Wrote

After working the Tucson Home & Patio show I got a text from Barbara saying she was “HUNGRY” and wanted to head to In-N-Out Burger for Lunch.  These kind of text messages mean, “Get done what you are doing and go outside, I’ll drive by and pick you up.”

It was a couple of minutes later she drove in our cul-de-sac and off we went to In-N-Out Burger at I-1o and Cortaro.  While there we talked with a family sitting next to us about the home show and Tucson (Barbara still had her GREEN home show T shirt on.)

Then Paul and his wife sat down behind us and Paul was looking though some images he had taken on his Nikon D80.  Asking a guy what model of Nikon he is shooting is a sure conversation starter and we shutterbugs love compairing notes and talking shop.

While these conversations were going on a group of guys came in looking every bit the part of a band.  They ordered and settled on a table right outside our window.  Barbara decided to go ask the guys for a photo (she has really been bitten by the shutterbug) and they introduced themselves as the band Love, She Wrote.  They are on their way back to LA having just finished up a tour.  Of course being from CA where else would they stop but an In-N-Out for a quick bite.

Nice group, and when we got home Barbara quickly found them on the net.  Here is a quick summary for anyone interested.

LSW is MTV Buzzworthy!

The Rialto should book them for Tucson!

Barbara sent me the scoop on the band in an email.

LSW is MTV Buzzworthy!

I can see she is really getting into the the Twitter/Texting way of communicating.  “Buzzworthy!”  I didn’t even know she knew this word.  Learn something new every day.

I heard their music playing in the background several times as she was gathering the information on the guys from their site.  They have a good sound.

Good Luck to the band, they are a great group of guys.  Hope that doesn’t hurt them coming from some one a couple of genreations older.
