Late Summer Wildflowers in the Morning Light

Late Summer Wildflowers in the Morning Light

Here in Tucson we are in the “In-Between” days.  It isn’t fall yet, and summer is almost over.  The Monsoon Rains are still making an appearance somewhere around town a few times a week.

The weather is still HOT! and on a good day it is a “Dry Heat”  But there are plenty of other days as well.  We are all ready for Fall.

The people moving to Tucson with job relocations and children in school have made that transition.  The winter visitors aren’t here yet.  They will probably delay their early arrival because it is an election year.  Most will wait till after the election back home in November before making their way south and west to Tucson.

Still too hot to clean out the garage and yard work is either very early in the morning or late in the evening for a few minutes.

Dining out is nice most night, but the misters are still on, not the patio heaters.

Real estate is still being bought and sold.  Not a fast pace but a steady pace.  The average home has declined in value by 5.9% in 2008, but is still up more than 58% over 5 years ago.

We are in the “In-Between” days and everyone is ready for them to be over.
