The Rabbit in the Moon on a Hot Day in June

rabbit in moonI stepped out to get the mail and give my eyes a break from the computer and saw the moon shining bright in the full light of day.

I have often tried to show people the rabbit in the moon, but have been unsuccessful in describing it in enough detail for anyone to make out the rabbit.

When I saw it today, I grabbed the camera and took this picture of the moon.

I used color correction to make it appear to be night so the image would be clearer.

I hope you can see the rabbit in the moon.   Just in case you are still having a little difficulty a little photoshop drawing over the image, my son is the artist but you should be able to get the idea of the rabbit.

There you have it.   The Rabbit in the Moon on a Hot Day in June.

You are probably thinking at this point, “he has spent way to much time in the sun”

Maybe I have, Monsoon is just a week away, so they say, and we are all hoping for some cooler temperatures and spectacular night thunderstorms to come along with it.

Okay, so I couldn’t resist drawing the rabbit on.

  1. Nice picture I love it. My son used to say he saw a rabbit when he looked at the moon, I can see it now too.

  2. Dave – Cute. I always like reading what you have to say. Keep em coming.

  3. Dave says:

    Thanks Doug,

Unfortunately today I have to deal with all the apparent bad news in the business section. But we will get back to some fun things like this one.

  4. Pam says:

Love the picture and the bunny!

  5. Dave says:

    Hi Pam,

Glad you could stop by. Yeah, the bunny is cute. : )
