Tucson Easy Bake Oven Recall

Tucson 100 degreesI’m not talking about  the Hasbro Easy Bake oven recall I’m talking about the Tucson Easy Bake Oven  recall.    Tucson has just completed 37 consecutive days of triple digit temperatures. The record  of 39 days was set back in    1987 and matched in 2005.

Some people would like to see the record broken figuring we have  already endured 37 days why not three more and go for the 40 day record.

Alas! if the forecast holds we will not break the triple digit barrier today bringing to a close this latest run at the record books.

We are in the beginning of our annual Monsoon Season.   The Tucson unofficial motto is “But it is a dry heat” isn’t even true right now.

Easy Bake Oven Recall

For those actually interested in the Hasbro recall of their latest version of   the Easy Bake oven you can read about in the “Arizona Daily Star”

Easy Bake OvenFor more information, oven owners can call 1-800-601-8418
or go online to:

It appears to be the newest version of the oven with the front door and heating element inside instead of the tried and true side door version with the light bulb.

The Hasbro company is working on a new design of the Easy Bake Oven because of its long standing history with kids and parents of kids that had one when they were growing up.

Tucson’s Easy Bake Oven No Redesign

There will be no redesign of Tucson’s Easy Bake oven even though there is a current recall.   It comes every summer  with slight nuances.   Sometimes there is a little more humidity added to the mix.   Sometimes it is wind, or rain, lots of lightening for extra ionization of the air.   Whatever the mix there will continue to be this summer and in future summers a Tucson Easy Bake Oven.
