This post has nothing to do with Tucson Real Estate. It does however pertain to living in Tucson. It is a hot muggy Saturday here in Tucson. The monsoon season is in full swings. I saw a query come in today asking “How long is Tucson Monsoon Season”. I think a lot of people are asking that question right about now. (It can continue into September but usually takes a break in August.
The weatherman says a break is coming by Tuesday this next week)We were talking yesterday and said we haven’t seen anything quite like this year since we moved here. I got here in Monsoon of 1999. Barbara has been here most of her life with a foray to Alaska and Denver for awhile. She doesn’t remember one like this either.
It usually gets muggy just before the afternoon or evening rains and then cools off. This week it is just muggy with little or no rain. At least not in our part of town. There was a little 3 inches of rain storm over in the Vail area this week. We missed it by a couple of hours.
As a result, I’m not very interested in Tucson Real Estate, or the Stock Market etc. I thought I’d share some of the images I took this week while out and about. It is easier to put these in a short video montage. I don’t have an account with a place to share images, at least not right now.
The rains have really brought a lot of greenery and flowers to the desert. I hope you enjoy the tour. Even with the humidity and heat Tucson is beautiful in the summer. A lot of people never see what I’m about to share. They are under the misconception that Tucson is just Hot, Humid and Brown in the summer. There is a lot of beauty in nature for those that stay in town for the summer.
I’ve also just heard you can lower your blood pressure and heart rate by focusing on something aesthetic. After this week on the stock market I’m sure there are plenty of people that need something aesthetic to focus on. I’m including two version one large and one small for those with limited bandwidth. Here is some of what I saw this week, enjoy. Oh, there’s no sound, your speakers aren’t broken. : )
Our wish for all is a good weekend and some rest.
