Tucson Flowers are Gems in Winter
Even in Tucson where it is warm and for the most part dry we do not escape the fact that much of the foliage is dormant and the desert is not filled with the many faceted colors of cactus in blooms.
However, in winter it is cool enough we can plant grass and flowers which will adorn our yard, streets and sidewalks during the cooler month of the year.
I’ve been busy this week working on a few projects which will interest some of you who like the images I include in posts. The images can cause the homepage to load slow since there are up to 10 posts and usually one or more images per post.
Often there are small images in the post, but when you click on them a much larger view is provided. Sometimes the image in the post is only a portion of the whole image. This is the case of the flower to the right. It is just one of many in the entire picture.
There are often more pictures than I can use in a single post. Some pictures don’t fit a post (at least not at the time they are taken) yet I want to share the beauty and interesting things about Tucson and what it is like living here.
I’ll write more about the main project later this week. For now I’ll let you have a sneak peek. I have started a photo blog of Tucson. It is called Visual Tucson Moments In Time.
If you like the images you see here and would like to see more then http://www.tucsonphotoblog.com will be a good place to keep up with where my camera and I have been.
This really is the time of year when the beautiful flowers that have a difficult if not impossible time trying to live in our summer heat thrive. They are quite beautiful and when you encounter them while driving around town they can’t help but bring a smile to your face. I’ll be capturing more of them in the days and weeks to come.
A Seller Gem: If you really want to make your house that is for sale standout. Take advantage of this time of year and brighten up your landscaping and front entry with some of the beautiful winter flowers available this time of year. They will really make that first impression of your Tucson AZ Real Estate stand out from the rest.
