Tucson Ice Fishing Season Not Effected by Global Warming
It is January in Tucson and the height of our Ice Fishing season is just 7 months away. But it isn’t too early to stock up on the items you will need. Most of our winter visitors miss out on Ice Fishing In Tucson. Come to think of it they miss out on Ice Fishing back home as well if they are in Tucson for the winter.
Here is what ice fishing in Tucson might look like in the traditional sense of the word.
You might notice a couple of things that impact this type of activity in Tucson.
- There is no water
- There is no ice
- There are no fish
Other than the lack of water, ice and fish it could be a fun thing to do on a late Saturday afternoon.
I did say that Tucson’s Ice Fishing season is still 7 months away. That is because we fish for ice in Tucson more than we fish for fish. There are some things you will want to have on hand once the season arrives.
A good pair of tongs helps. As does a cooler if you are the adventurous outdoors type. For those that view camping as a night in the Holiday Inn then this is more their version of Ice Fishing in Tucson.
