Tucson loves organic and natural foods

Tucsonans love to live a healthy lifestyle and they love to eat.   Yes, Tucsonans are foodies.  Organic and Natural foods are very much a part of this choice and unlike some parts of the country where it can be very hard to find organic food stores that is not the case in Tucson.

This is not intended to be a complete or exclusive list just an example of what Tucson is blessed with in the way of organic and natural food stores and sources.

There are a number of Farmer’s Markets located around the city and on weekends there are great buys for fresh everything.   On the map below I’ve picked three very popular and well known locations all within a mile of each other.

If you’ve never navigated a map like this, you can click on the red balloons and find a link to the website for each of the stores.   You can also click on the store names below the map and it will take you to that stores balloon.   These aren’t the only location in town for organic and natural foods.  Even many of our other grocery stores now have an organic section.   I love shopping at all three of the stores on the map.   Each one has a different atmosphere and something different to offer.   I like and shop at them all.

I want to add, Trader Joe’s donates to a lot of great causes around Tucson which I understand is their practice in all the communities they are located.

If you have a favorite place in the Tucson area for organic or natural foods please leave a comment for the the rest of our readers.   After all we are always looking for new places to discover more great food sources.
