The Tucson Senior Games will be held January 20 - 28th. Hundreds of seniors from around the region will compete in dozens of athletic events with winners and qualifiers advancing to the National Senior Olympics later in 2007. The Tucson Senior Games website contains a lot of information on this festival held here annually.
My dad has taken part in past years in the shuffle board events. He has medals hanging in his office along with a lot of trophies showing that he is more than just a fair to middlin shuffle board player.
This is a great festival and I know many people are looking forward to taking part in the festivities again this year.
