Tucson Spring Fireworks

This year the wildflowers in Tucson are at their 10 year best. I’ll post a few images of the ones growing in and around Tucson this spring. The flowers in this post are found in a lot of highway medians and front yards. They are low care and the spring blossoms are light and delicate.

I’ve seen them referred to as Fireworks. I think that is a good description of these delicate explosions of color and light.

But their real name is even better, they are “Pink Fairy Dusters”.   Yep, thats the best name of all.
