Since I’m in town, decided to tour the model homes in my future community in order to get some free design ideas.;-) Figured it’s best to go somewhere against the general traffic.
Still at about 11 am (way late for Black Friday you’d think…) I had to go around the block because it was inconceivable to ever make it to the left lane for a U-turn.
Surprisingly enough, there were a lot of people visiting the models. Not sure if they just were looking for something to do today or were seriously interested, but the fact is they were there. Stopped at some other models nearby and they had visitors, too. My observation kinda checks out with the pretty good absorption rate in this zip code. Me thinks we might’ve seen the bottom in some areas…

Concerned,
You might be right. We have been seeing a lot of activity in the market since the beginning of the month. Hence, the relatively few posts for Nov. There is usually good activity for the Thanksgiving weekend.
However, Ironically, it was Thanksgiving weekend 2005 when the lights went out so to speak on Tucson Real Estate. Everyone in this business noticed on that same weekend it was like somoene turned off all the lights and left town.

Could’ve very well been (the Thanksgiving lights out in ‘05)… I’ve told you my story. We closed in the beginning of Dec ‘05. In Jan it looked like we bought the last darn house in town…

Uncle Jack,
I’ll have some pictures to replace the turkey today. Here is a good place to see the next gen gallery and lightbox in action.
