Hood Up to Dodge Pack Rats

We were out showing homes a couple of days ago and two of the 10 on our list had old cars parked with their hoods up. Our buyers were curious about seeing this on two cars.

We had to laugh. It is common to see it down here. Why? It keeps the pack rats from eating the wiring.

Yep, hood up, wires intact, hood down, lunch.

If you are going to park a car for any period of time outdoors in Tucson put the hood up or expect a hefty bill to have the wiring fixed.
