Pima County is expected to continue to grow at approximately 2% per year through 2015. This growth rate will have a continued positive effect on the Tucson AZ Real Estate Market.
Back in October I wrote these three post answering the question “Why are Tucson Home Prices Staying so High“.
- Tucson Homes - Why are Prices Staying High
- Tucson Homes - Make Me Move
- Tucson Homes - Company Relocation
This past week there was an article in the Arizona Daily Star about “Pima population growth to slow microscopically”
Not a significant decline in growth especially when the word microscopically is used instead if “Plunge” “Crash” etc. Click the Graph to see the full size graph.
Here is what to me was most interesting along with the article in the sidebar.
- The mortgage meltdown won’t stop our population growth.
- There’s enough housing to handle growth for the next 1-2 years.
- People are moving here for reasons other than employment.
- A lot of them are bringing nest eggs with them.
- The slight growth downtick we will experience will be invisible.
This is why I continue to say Tucson AZ Real Estate is in much better shape now and in the future compared to many other local real estate markets in the country.
