I wonder if February is a fluke or the beginning of a better trend. I love going to blogs in cities other than Austin as I want to see the relative health of other city markets. You don’t hear about local news in the national press so many of these blogs are excelent sources of statistical information.

Jim,

For the regular readers they know this graphic contains the averages for a quick look at what is going on. We can tell what the average price per square foot for sold, Average asking price and the average sale price tells us what the percentage of asking to seller price is currently.

It is much better than January 2008 which we did a count down on at the Tucson AZ Real Estate blog.

The graph tells us a lot in a quick glimpse.
