This is the view as you approach the main gate to Heritage Highlands. It is a spectacular site welcoming all who live here as they return home.
Hertiage Highlands is an Active Adult Gated Golf Community. There are many things to do here. Besides golf, there is an activity center, Tennis courts, pool and spa as well as workout room, billiards room, hiking club, library and dining area with a wonderful menu.
Heritage Highlands has it’s own web site at HeritageHighlands.com where you can find detailed information about the community and activities.
There is a new shopping center and grocery store going in at the entrance to Dove Mountain that makes a quick trip to pick up an item for lunch or that recipe close and easy. Located just an hour and fifteen minutes from Phoenix and a few minutes from Tucson Hertiage Highlands is a great place to call home. The mountain views and warm winter days make it a great place to retire, or make as your winter home away from home.
The real buzz around the community is the World Golf Championships, Accenture Match Play Tournament coming in February featuring Tiger Woods. This tournament is scheduled to be played here each year in February.
Heritage Highlands Resale Market Boost
The home owners that are seeking to sell their homes in Heritage Highlands have just gotten a boost from two sources The first the the tournament we just mentioned, the second is the builders in Heritage Highlands only have two homes left to sell and the next phase of development isn’t scheduled to start for about 6 months.
Anyone who has had their home on the market in Heritage Highlands knows their biggest competition isn’t coming from other homes on the market, it is coming from the builders who have been heavily discounting new homes, some as much as $100,000. The builders are trying to close the books on the current phase of construction before the end of the year.
There is one thing potential buyer’s should know, for some reason there are a lot of Townhomes, listed as Single Family Residence in Heritage Highlands. This is a violation of the Tucson MLS Rules, and subject to a fine for the listing agent. Even so there are quite a few Townhomes with the SFR designation in the Tucson MLS.
If you are thinking about looking at a home in Heritage Highlands and you don’t want a Townhome, this is probably a question you want to ask before driving out to take a look.
