I couldn't agree with you more. That is why I started this blog in the first place to counter all the negative press that comes out about real estate in Tucson.
I just loved this excuse back when it was first published. Tucson Real Estate is the reason for all the problems in Tucson or at least so it would seem according to the media.
I think if we got rid of real estate and all the people in Tucson (according to the media) all the problems would go away : )

Mary Lou,

I couldn’t agree with you more. The homes are superior to anything we have in Tucson (I've sold real estate full time for 31 years here in Tucson). This is Tucson's HEART...
a place where we can gather to meet face to face with other Tucson residents and celebrate our history and how fortunate we are to live in the greatest city on the planet. It would be nice if reporters would actually see this project in person rather than writing about something they have not seen or experienced. I've lived in a dozen states and Tucson is by far the very best place to live for numerous reasons ! ! There is enough BAD in this world to report on without creating bad news that does not even exist.

Rio Neuvo is one of the most successful projects in Tucson’s history…I was the first person to put a property in escrow in said development. Did you see in today's paper the article about Portland? How our city officials went to visit and hopefully pick up some ideas for future development in Tucson? The only problem seems to be that we, darn Tucsonans, won't pass any prop for additional taxes or city officials' raises... They were lamenting how Portland's council members get paid 94K and our poor babies get only 24K.;-) We just so don't trust them! Not that there could possibly be any reason for that...Tucsonans are just untrusting bunch.;-) Simpleton me figures that if you can live in Sam Hughes on 24K you're all right.;-) You know everything about budgeting - just go ahead and apply all this knowledge city-wide!;-))

Ha-ha, nice allegory with the bug!;-))

Did you see in today’s paper the article about Portland?
