New Blog Begins for Tucson Real Estate

This is the first official post besides Hello World! at install of Wordpress and a one liner called First Post that I just deleted. The Tucson Real Estate market is changing quickly.
It seems almost everyday there is something in “The Arizona Daily Star” or “The Tucson Citizen” that seems like a scene out of “Chicken Little” the sky is falling, the bubble is bursting, the dam is breaking, well maybe not the dam breaking here in Tucson, but you get the idea. We really wanted a venue to comment on all this “bad new” about real estate in general and Tucson in specific, that has brought us to this point.
I’ve been a computer programmer and data analyst for over 20 years now. I just finished working as the database administrator for the largest real estate broakerage in Southern Arizona last year when I left to work with my wife Barbara. I took on the responsibility of designing, programming and maintaining her website. Now I’m moving us in the next step in providing more upto the minute analysis of the Tucson Real Estate Market.
I will be the first to admit I’m very new to Blogging. I just bought a book on Wordpress 2 a week ago and have read it twice and am on the third read now. Until two weeks ago I had never heard the term Web 2.0, now I see it everywhere. I still have a lot to learn. I don’t understand RSS feeds, or aggrigators, I have never seen PHP until this week. I will continue to learn and will take help and advise from any willing to share it.
I’ve modifed this theme and added the programming for widget’s, most days it feels like one step forward and two steps back, but I’m getting there. I’ve read a lot of real estate blogs over the past ten days, and finally decided there won’t be a perfect time to get started. I can work on the theme, plugins, widgets etc. I realize it will never be perfect so it is time to start writing, or I should say blogging. If you are interested in Tucson Real Estate and not blogging I probably lost you with this paragraph, I know I would have lost me a week ago with it.
I will do my best to keep our readers informed of the Tucson Real Estate Market. I will be working to “Unbury The Bone” and provide informative commentary and information.
Thank you for taking the time to read this first post. And so it begins, I hope we all enjoy the journey and learn a few things along the way.
