Tucson Association of Realtors PR Campaign

This PR wasn’t PageRank, it was about the Tucson Association of Realtors.
(You might need to go to the individual post to view the video)
Back in August of last year the association asked for volunteers to make a series of commercials to be aired in Tucson about the value of Tucson Realtors to the community.
Barbara volunteered (she used to be a model) and drug me along to the interview for what she would be doing. I got signed up as well. I think you could use my hands as a model of a train wreck but since they weren’t planning on filming a train wreck I thought I was safe.
WRONG! they ended up using every single Realtor that volunteered and one that didn’t.
First thing everybody learned.
AUGUST IN TUCSON IS NOT THE TIME TO SHOOT OUTDOOR COMMERCIALS.
The shoot was over in a couple of day and a month later we were all invited to see the spots. There were four of them all together. They aired on all stations in Tucson for a couple of months and were a big hit. We were celebrities, at least small ones. I think we each got a free soda out of it once.
Anyway, I’m the guy opening the door at the beginning of all the commercials and Barbara is the Habitat worker running electrical wire in a wall and providing the big smile to end the commercial.
This weekend I was searching something when up popped this page with the commercials available; that was too much to resist. So without further addo. Enjoy

Not bad for a local association don’t you think?

How cool, Dave. You guys did a great job. Fine action shot of you opening the door and Barbara’s pearly whites are a happy ending!

Thank you Maureen, and as the curtain goes down we take our bow.
