First Quarter 2007 Cost of Living Report

The Council for Community and Economic Research has recently released the ACCRA Cost of Living Index for the first quarter of 2007. The cost of living in Tucson is slightly higher than the national average (100.4 versus an average of 100), with grocery items, transportation and miscellaneous goods/services costing more than the national average. Housing in Tucson, on the other hand, came in at 93.9, which is well below the national average!

Granted that’s not much news, but most of the time we find it is a combination of small pieces of news that can make a big impact.

I thought Tucson was higher than that? I checked their site and they have a subscription for including ACCRA on your site. I’ll have to check the cost, that would be a cool addition.
