People ask Jacqui about that all of the time. Of course we do have Lake Mead, but there aren't any housing developments with lake front property on it (yet).

Dave, isn’t funny how many people want to move to the desert yet live on the water? I have been to that town. I grew up in a river town in Minnesota, the river there had hydro dams on it though, and boy was it strange to see one year when they drained a section of the river between 2 dams so that repairs could be preformed. Old cars, boats, and even a old slot machine were found.

I thought that picture looked familiar. I have been to that town. Glad you took the time to comment, you have to be one of the few people in Tucson to have a home on a river with water in it even if it is just a couple of days a year.
Good luck in your relocation. I'm sure someone will want your home on the river. Hope where you are moving you can get a river with water flowing a little more often. : )

Mona,

Glad you took the time to comment, you have to be one of the few people in Tucson to have a home on a river with water in it even if it is just a couple of days a year.

Good luck in your relocation.
