Lakeside Ridge by Lakeside Park Tucson
Every Saturday the New Homes section of the paper comes out. It is one of those sections many agents pull out and check to see what is happening in Tucson New Home Construction. I was reading an ad for Lakeside Ridge a new subdivision being built by TJ Bednar Homes.
The first thing that caught my eye was the photograph in the ad showing vega beams and wood ceilings. The ad states the ceilings are 12 ft. high. The second thing I noticed was the starting price from the high $160’s. On their website they initially were saying “from the $200’s”.
The part that really got me interested was in the text of the ad itself.
“Lakeside Ridge, adjacent to Lakeside Park and its 14 acre lake, boating and walking trails.”
A 14 acre lake in Tucson that I’ve never seen or heard about before. I picked my dad up for breakfast and we headed over to the lake afterward. He had never seen the lake and park either. We got there by going up Sarnoff from Golf Links to Stella. The lake isn’t visible till you turn the corner onto Stella and then you see it. Ducks, cranes, storks, and fishermen are around the shore and on the lake. There are walking paths, a ball field, play equipment, water and grass with shade trees. This is one very fun park.
Which brings us back to Lakeside Ridge. If you want to be close to a park in Tucson with water, fishing and places to walk and enjoy a view of the Catalina Mountains and a lake you might want to take a look at Lakeside Ridge.
Want to see more of the park, here is a quick Flickr slide show of Tucson Lakeside Park.
