Last Blue Moon of 2009

Blue Moon

Goodbye 2009 Hello 2010

Closing out the year with a Blue Moon. (You can take that however you want)   I prefer mine with a twist of lime.

It has been a year that many in real estate will be glad to put behind them.

Hey, wasn’t that what we said about 2008?   Probably was, and we were glad to put 08 behind us.   Now we are even happier to put 2009 in the history books and move on.

We did see some good things happen in Tucson Real Estate in 2009.

The inventory of homes has decreased to 6 month, normal, something normal happened this year?   Reason to celebrate.   Yes, as bad as it was, it could have been worse.

Wow, that’s great commentary on a year isn’t it.

“It could have been worse”.

As a friend of mine is fond of saying “And so dear readers”, we have traversed the galaxy for another 365 turns of the orb and now we are on the cusp of another decade, another new year, a time for opportunity and optimism.   A time for new challenges and new goals.

I used to think I wanted to know what the future held in store.   Looking back over the past 10 years it wasn’t bad, but if I had seen what it would hold in store . . . .   I won’t go into details; there were great moments and great losses.   So on we go, together I hope, looking forward to what the next decade holds.   I’ll try and keep you up to date on Tucson Real Estate.   And share some of the interesting things as life goes on in Tucson, Arizona.

It will be nice to meet some of you this next year.   Thanks for dropping by from time to time to read a few words, and ponder a few thoughts.

Enjoy the Blue Moon this evening, and be safe.   And if you have one with a twist of lime, tip your bottle to the moon and send a good thought this way.

Happy New Year to you All

Dave and Barbara
