7/9/2009 Short Sale/REO Listings Reminder
If you have Short Sale or REO listings in the system that are in ANY active status (CAPA, Contingent, Pending) please revise them using the Short Sale/REO field selector.
Thank You
There were two fields added to the search screen as well. We can now track closed transactions by REO or Short Sale.
Recent reports in the media have said that 30% of Tucson real estate sales fall into this category. While inside sources have put the figure at 16% of properties on the market. There is a wide gap between these two figures.
Starting today I’ll be including the number of short sales and REO sales in the Daily Market Updates in the right hand sidebar.

Dave, for a few months I’ve been able to find some Long Realty housing report in pdf format that was breaking down the absorption rates by zip codes. This month I can’t find it anywhere… If you know what I’m talking about and can give me the link, I’d appreciate it. There’s only some video on the website about the 1st quarter, I believe. Even before I couldn’t get to this report from the site, but eventually it was showing up in searches. Why in the world would it be buried so deeply…?! Doesn’t make any sense.
Have a good week!
Concerned,
I post that report each month in the sidebar under documents. I don’t announce it anywhere but it is here just above the Tucson MLS Statistics Report.
It is called Tucson Housing Report Months of Inventory By Zip
Ha, I never noticed it before. Thanks, Dave.
That is a great idea to have your market report in your sidebar-it is handy and always available!
