I know it could have been Tucson today. One of those rare Pre-monsoon days with clouds and temperatures in the 80′s. This morning I caught a flight out of Tucson to Denver. I’ll be attending an un-conference on Friday. I’m going to do a workshop hands on presentation on HDR photo post processing.
The un-conference is know as REBARCAMP the RE is for “you guessed it” Real Estate. Bar Camps are sweeping the country and REBARCAMPS have really caught hold since the first one last summer. They are free to attend, and the schedule doesn’t exist until the morning of the event. Some people commit to lead a discussion on a topic ahead of time, but there are no sign-ups for classes or sessions, you go you look at the board and pick where you want to go. It is more like show and tell for adults.
No vendor presentation, no products being pushed to make your more “successful”. People sharing what they are doing in business and how they are doing it.
Photography is one of the things I enjoy doing and HDR Processing is more an art form than it is a series of steps.
But there are some principles to using it and with some basic instruction most can at least try it out enough to know if they want to learn how to do it.
Therefore, I’m in Denver for a few days. Cool, maybe even (dare I say it) cold nights. And rain, Green grass, green trees, green, green green.
While you might not be interested in photos of the Denver area, there is a chance you might. Maybe it will provide just the hint of a green fix, or a memory for some who have lived here at some point in their journey.
So I’ll take a break from Tucson real estate and send you some post cards from Denver for the next couple of days.
