On July 15th 2007 this site was created and its first post published. There has been a new post everyday since.
This month has gone by quickly. I really enjoy writing about Tucson and taking picture to share with everyone that stops by. We want everyone to have a better idea of how amazingly beautiful Tucson and Southern Arizona is. (I don’t think I’m supposed to end that sentence in is)
Since starting to write about Tucson during the last month I have completely changed how I look at my surroundings. By this I mean, I’m noticing my surroundings and not just going about the day to day business and routine. I’ve lived here almost 10 years and feel like I’m seeing a lot of things for the first time. Including a meteor shower that failed to show up. I hope you have enjoyed this last month as much as I have.
Here is a recap of topics for this first month.

Whew, that is a lot of topics. Of all the things written about this month one of my personal favorites was the Tucson Family Reunion. I laugh every time I drive by this group of cactus growing at a corner I pass almost every day.
I hope our readers and friends have enjoyed this first month of posts and pictures. I also hope you have learned some interesting things about Tucson you didn’t know before. For instance you know what I looked like at 2 years of age. That’s important. : )
You know what a giant hairy scorpion looks like. (Harry is still in the garage I scared relatives with him the other night when they were over for burgers and beans) See you never know when a dead scorpion is going to come in handy.
I hope as the weeks and months pass, stopping by here for a quick read, a laugh, and a little learning will become a part of your routine and enjoyment.
Thanks to all that have encouraged us during this first month, to all who have searched for something and found an answer, we are glad we could help.

Happy Birthday to your new blog, Dave!:-)
That new baby of yours must be very hungry - quit eating my links and images, will ya?!:-(
Don’t eat it, OK!!!
The blog is very nice and the pictures are exquisite!:-) Well, they may give a little exaggerated idea of Tucson to out-of-towners…;-) Not that those things and places don’t exist, but the pics do give a bit of a dollied-up impression.;-) And of course it’s important to know how you looked at the age of two!;-) You were a cute kiddo! Sooo, it appears that this one will be the fun blog and the boring and disturbing data will be left on the old foggy.;-)
