Tucson Busy Bee Sunday

This morning started early with a trip across town to get some new photos of a listing while the wildflowers are in bloom. Wildflowers in Tucson are beautiful. However, being in the desert they often don’t last long. When they show up it is take their photo today for tomorrow they may be gone. It took three hours to make the trip there and back. I got back in time to change, load up the open house signs, and head to our the open house.
While putting out the signs I noticed a lot of activity at one of the intersections. It was centered around a group of barrel cactus. I had to stop, grab the camera and be amazed at bees diving head first into these cactus blossoms so deep all you could see sticking out were their little bee butts.
Once I got home I started editing the new photos for the listing when I realized I STILL HADN’T written a post for today. I’m trying to have at least a new post everyday. Some days it will be just a thought, others have information and some analysis of the Tucson real estate market. Today it is reflective.
It has been a pretty rough week in the Real Estate / Mortgage industries. I’ve never considered Mortgage to be a part of Real Estate. Mortgage is financing a home purchase, Real Estate is what is being bought or sold. I know this sounds simplistic, so be it, I like simple. This week I found out the ties are really closer than I wanted them to be. What happens in Mortgage effecting Real Estate more than the other way around, at least that’s how it appears to me now. It was a stormy week in Real Estate and Mortgage.
This week there were several really bad monsoon storms in Tucson.

Yet the bees continue to work, they gather pollen take it back to the hive and the hive makes honey. Some days there are more flowers and more pollen than others. Some days there are storms and a bee just has a bad day. Today the bees were back to work. The storms pass, the work continues. Busy Bee Butts Buried in Productivity.
It was a busy day here in Tucson Real Estate. Travel, photos, open house, photos, processing, writing, publishing; yep, it was a Busy Bee Butt Buried in Productivity kind of day. May the storms pass quickly.
