We all I had a fun time tracking closed transactions for January. January now stands at 618. The recorded number 2 business days after January 31 was 594 with 24 sales being entered subject to a fine.

In the middle of February we started tracking February closed transactions to see if the market was showing any signs of things picking up over January. On February 18th we noted there were 301 closed transactions already entered. For those bored with numbers I promise this is the last month we will do this. I wouldn’t have done it again this month if:

  1. We I hadn’t had so much fun doing it last month
  2. The number is already more than 100 higher than last month

March 1 we did another quick update showing there were now 633 closed transactions entered for February 2008

Now it is time to move the discussion back here and do a little follow up on the numbers.

Tucson MLS Closed Transactions March 1

This first graphic was pulled on Tuesday evening March 4 at about 8:30 pm. All status changes are to be entered into the Tucson MLS System within 2 business days. This means anything that closed for February should have been entered into the system by midnight on March 4, 2008 or be subject to a fine of up to $15,000. Yep that is Fifteen Thousand Dollars.

That doesn’t mean every one WILL be finded that much but it can be up to that much.
