This past week we all got a message when logging in to the Tucson MLS that we could now upload up to 25 photos for a listing. Previous to this the limit was 10. This more than doubles the number of images we can include on a listing. All right for the statistically minded this is a 150% more images.
Why is this a big deal. Because the more images of a home the quicker it sells.
There are qualifiers to this.
- Lots of bad photos don’t sell
- Lots of good photos of a bad house don’t sell
But with a clean well maintained home, nicely decorated with good views and landscaping the more photos of a home the better.
Now you can include photos of the community pool, the park, the nearest shopping or interesting places near your home.
No you don’t need two angles of the toilet, but several shots of the back yard or the master bedroom den might be nice. You can’t get all the master bath in a single shot, don’t worry, do one of the large walk-in closet and one of the soaker tub and spa jets.
The addition of 15 more photos to a listing is a real benefit to marketing Tucson Homes on the market.
Does anyone else find it odd that this is a post about photos and there aren’t any?
