Tucson Real Estate Theme Change
Original Theme
Since the beginning of this blog a year ago July we have had the same theme. The night scape of Tucson with the stars, clouds and moon in the background. I liked that theme and picture but recently I modified a theme for the Tucson Real Estate In The News blog which provided more space and I liked the layout better than the one here. Because I planned on integrating the two blogs into a single entity I decided to go with the same theme on both blogs to make the transition of the News blog readers to this blog more transparent. I hope you like the new theme. I plan to add the image mentioned to the rotation of the images currently appearing in the header. As time and seasons change I’ll have new images added to the rotation.
Tucson Real Estate News Now Integrated
Tucson Real Estate New Theme
For the past two and a half years I’ve been authoring several blogs. One for Oro Valley real estate, Two for Tucson, a technical blog for real estate bloggers and a couple non real estate related sites. I’ve decided to combine the Tucson Real Estate News blog with this one. All the posts and comments from the News blog have been brought over and integrated.

The same coverage of Tucson Real Estate In the News will be here. The analysis of the Tucson MLS Statistics each month Absorption rates and commentary on Tucson Real Estate reporting in the media. For the News blog readers nothing is changing except the URL.
Combining the focus of the Tucson blogs into a single site makes it easier to administer. It also means if you have been following both blogs you don’t have to switch back and forth between the two and the posting schedule will be more consistent. The coverage of both news and events taking place in Tucson will provide a better view of the “Big Picture” of living in Tucson and the Tucson Real Estate Market.
It continues to be our focus to provide our readers with pertinent and up to date information on living in Tucson and insights in the Tucson Real Estate News and Markets.
There is one more little change, has anybody noticed what it is?

It will be interesting if you could post in a month or so and give us an update on how the combination of the two blogs affected traffic. Maybe over at the lab.

I’ll do that, I can tell you in the last 18 hours it has doubled the traffic, increased the blogtopsites ranking from 56 to 24 and taken the feedburner reader count from 32 to 67.
That’s in less than a day.
I’ll be posting about it at the lab this week, and asking any RE bloggers linking to the news blog to swing the link over here. Then I’ll be watching the Google external links and of course the next PR update.
It could have gone smoother and I’ll explain in the Lab post.
