Tucson is Going Green for St Patrick’s Day
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will take place March 15, 2009. The theme for this year’s festival is
Wearin’ O’ The Green
The festival starts at 10 am. at Armory Park, 220 S. Fifth Ave. The parade will begin at 11 am. To see the Parade route check out the Map.
The festival itself will include music, Irish dance (wow, who would have guessed it would be Irish). Of course there will be food, what is a festival without food.
The price of admission is the one you will love, yes it is FREE.
March 15 is going to be a going green day in Tucson. From Green mashed potatoes to lots of green beer. In this year where everything is going Green St. Patrick’s Day is considered a forerunner.
