Last week I said Tucson is spread out and a couple of days ago I added a map to show my travels on one of the days mentioned in the post.
Today I’m going to introduce you to
Walk Scores.com
Walk Scores.com is a sight that will provide a walk score of 1 – 100 of how easy it is to walk to places from that address. There are a lot of places in Tucson that will have a good walk score. There are also a lot of them that will have a very low walk score.

If owning a home in an urban setting where you can walk most of the places you want to go, then using WalkScores can help you in your search for a new home.
Walk Scores for Finding Stuff
I know I don’t live in a home with a very high walk score. I can walk to places but it is usually a “LONG” walk to get there and back.
But I find using Walk Scores.com is a handy tool for finding where things might be located around a particular address.
Find a hospital, grocery store, health club, coffee shop, etc. use Walk Scores to provide you with names and approx. distance from the address you entered.
