Twas the Day After Christmas

Some Days It Would Be Nice To Be A Cat

Twas the day after Christmas and all through the house,
kitty cats were playing with the new Christmas mouse.

Wrapping paper was spread in a tent like heap,
as kitty cats played with their noses buried deep.

Blog posts needed writing, analysis of stats was at home growing old,
as we crossed town in the morning, home inspection to hold.

It is one of those days when we’d rather be cats.
At home with our mice and Christmas wrap naps.

The cat in the photo looks so cute! I also have a cat and he likes to play with the wrapping paper, too! This is his second Christmas and he enjoyed it so much than the first. He joined me while I wrapped the gifts and he loves to play with the excess wrapping papers…he also loves to play with his nose buried deep.
