I owned a property once, and had renters who swore the neighbors on one side were too noisy.  They reported hearing car doors opening and closing late into the night.  We found out that the neighbors ran a car detailing business and were cleaning out cars, in the driveway and backyard area, for their clients.  This activity went late into the night.
